Bridge the gap to the Classical method
Three ways into the Comprehensive program
Power Pilates welcomes experienced Pilates instructors into our Comprehensive program through the Bridge option. Under the updated program, there are now three ways to bridge, whether you’ve completed a full Comprehensive certification elsewhere, or you’re still enrolled in one. Your rate depends on which path fits, and on whether you choose to audition.
Every path begins with a single application, reviewed and verified by our education team. Applicants who choose to audition are reviewed by a Teacher Trainer, who accepts or declines the audition and assigns the apprentice-hour requirement.
What your application includes
- A copy of your Comprehensive certificate (or, if you’re still enrolled elsewhere, proof of active registration in that program).
- A current certificate: dated within the last 10 years, or with proof of teaching within the last 2 years.
- Your CV and a teaching log or proof of teaching, where applicable.
- A reference we can verify, from a studio or a teaching professional.
- The $25 application fee (plus the $100 audition fee if you choose to audition).
The audition is optional, and it’s what unlocks 50%
A passed audition lets you bypass the first three assessments and reduce your required apprentice hours. A Teacher Trainer reviews your self-recorded audition, accepts or declines it, and assigns your apprentice requirement anywhere from 0 to 600 hours. The final exam is still required to complete the program. Prefer not to audition? Comprehensive graduates enter at 35% off, with all hours and exams required.
