Acerca de Leslie

Leslie experienced her first Pilates lesson in 1997 at Drago’s Gym in New York City while working as a Radio City Rockette. It was then that she fell in love with the method, changed her show warm-up from a ballet barre to a Pilates mat workout, and incorporated its foundations into her journey of movement.
Leslie received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance Performance from Southern Methodist University and enjoyed a rewarding professional dance career. Additionally, as an ACE certified personal trainer in NYC, she created exercise routines for her clients in their homes. Later, she taught ballet and contemporary dance in her home state of Texas.
Leslie’s friend, Vicki Hickerson of Body Springs Pilates in Austin, brought her back to Pilates in 2020, and she trained under Stormi Truesdell of Pure Pilates Dallas to become a Power Pilates comprehensively certified instructor. She is currently teaching at Fort Worth Classical Pilates under the guidance of Laura West Strawser as well as at her home studio in Weatherford.
Leslie loves that Pilates is helpful for people of all ages and fitness levels--from beginners to professional athletes. It is her joy to help her clients befriend their bodies. We each have only one!
