Karen was first introduced to pilates to heal an injured back from lifting heavy in the gym. She was hooked immediately. She enjoyed it so much that she wanted to share this method with others and become a pilates instructor. After two comprehensive certifications, one classical and one contemporary, Karen felt more drawn to the classical method. On her quest for ongoing growth as a classical instructor, Karen discovered the Power Pilates virtual continuing education conferences. Impressed with the caliber of Teacher Trainers, the robust curriculum, and the support available to apprentices, Karen bridged to Power Pilates in 2021. Continuing on her own pilates journey and wanting to share this method with even more people, Karen is thrilled and honored to represent Power Pilates as a Teacher Trainer to teach and mentor apprentices on their path to becoming pilates instructors. Karen is also a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher through the National Pilates Certification Program, accredited by the NCCA. Karen lives in Florida with her husband and three children.
