| Individual Needs: How to 'C' Effectively w/ Monica Plewes
Learn how to choose an effective "C" module to individualize and maximize your clients' sessions. We will explore ways to properly assess which apparatus and exercises will best accommodate a clients specific work on the four S's; strength, stretch, stamina and stability. Prerequisites: Open to all Intermediate level instructors. |

| Foam Roller 101 w/ Bethanie Buckingham
A great way to challenge your clients (especially the more intermediate and advanced clients) the unstable surface of the roller makes even the most basic Pilates exercise challenging, calling upon the deep core muscles to stabilize the body on the moving surface of the roller. Additionally, the roller can help in learning balance, improving posture, building strength, and relieving tension. Prerequisites: Open to all clients and instructors. |

| Special Cases: Scoliosis w/ Bethanie Buckingham
Learn how to create a safe, effective program for clients with scoliosis. Understand the variations of scoliosis and their health risk to the client. Design a program that allows for a balance between stability and mobility of the spine while helping your client gain strength and functionality. We'll discuss how best to use breath and cuing to support a client with scoliosis on the mat and apparatus. Prerequisites: Open to all instructors. |

| Tower on the Mat w/ Cheryl Turnquist
We all love a good Tower class! The extra support, stretch, and strengthening that comes from working on the Cadillac/Wall Unit/Tower is hard to beat, but just because you or your clients don't have access to the equipment doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy or teach many of your favorite Tower exercises. Come join us for some creative Mat choreography based on the classical Tower format using mat exercise variations and props. We'll warm up with a mini Tower on the Mat workout and then take a closer look at class formatting and exercise options. Ideally bring a foam roller, medium weight theraband, 6-8 inch
squishy ball or Magic Circle, and light hand weights and get ready to have fun!
This workshop is best for Intermediate and Advanced Teachers and students/clients Prerequisites: Open to all Intermediate/Advanced instructors and clients. |

| Jumpboard w/ Cheryl Turnquist
More than the ordinary challenge! In this workshop you will learn or review the Jumpboard exercises suited for advanced clientele. The Jumpboard offers an element of cardio with another challenge for the Powerhouse. Come prepared to move, sweat and have fun! Prerequisites: Open to all Intermediate instructors and clients with Reformer experience.

| Spice Up Your Mat Class w/ Francesca Gorgone
This workshop will follow Intermediate/Advanced level mat exercises while adding in Magic Circle and Hand Weights. Learn how to use these props within the traditional mat exercises to add a different flavor. Your clients will enjoy these additions as it will provide more of a challenge to exercises they have been doing for a while. "Spice it up!" Prerequisites: Open to all instructors and clients. |

| All Barrel Review (Small barrel, Spine Corrector, Ladder Barrel) w/ Cheryl Turnquist
During this workshop you will learn/review the Technique of all exercises on the Barrels (Small Barrel, Spine Corrector and Ladder Barrel). The focus of the exercises will be the Set-Up and Action-only for all exercises. Staying "horizontal" with the exercises (Set-up and Action-only) will ensure proper movement safely and effectively. Prerequisites: Open to all instructors and Intermediate level clients. |

| Pelvic Floor Dysfunction & Pilates Solutions w/ Cheryl Turnquist
Pelvic floor dysfunction is one of the most common and least talked about issues affecting women. Pregnancy, childbirth, and aging all take a toll on the pelvic floor that can lead to discomfort, pain, and incontinence. In this workshop, we'll discuss common issues and how Pilates can help support clients experiencing pelvic floor disfunction. Prerequisites: Open to all instructors and clients. |

| Mat with Spine Corrector w/ Amie Cunha
Do you love working on the Spine Corrector, but are running out of fresh ideas or variations. Maybe you crave the order of the mat work but want to help your clients find new connections to it. This workshop will explore the spine corrector in a new way, with mat choreography. It will show you how the spine corrector can give additional feedback to the mat work and really open up the front of the body and create more space in spine and hips. Prerequisites: Open to all instructors. |

Add another dimension to your teaching by focusing on the principle of breath. You know that exhaling facilitates core support and intensifies movement. Now learn how to utilize breath control to deepen your client's connection to his/her powerhouse, enhance flow, and bring energy and awareness to specific areas of the body. During this workshop you will learn progressions for the Wunda Chair that you can utilize during an Intermediate or Advanced session. These progressions are based on the "individual needs" of the client. Come prepared to move. Open to instructors and Intermediate/Advanced Wunda Chair level clients. Prerequisites: Open to all instructors and clients with Wunda Chair experience. |

| Mat Workout Design for Lower Back Issues w/ Meaghan Maxwell
Lower back issues are very common in today's world where many people spend 40+ hours seated at a desk. In this workshop, we'll learn how to design a safe and effective mat workout to accommodate lower back issues. We'll discuss what issues to modifiy and avoid and incorporate props to expand our options for clients. Prerequisites: Open to all instructors. |

| Pilates for Seniors w/ Meaghan Maxwell
This workshop is geared to help you teach elderly clientele how to utilize the classical Pilates method effectively. As Joseph used to say, "You are only as old as your spine is flexible." We will discuss some common injuries, weaknesses, and limitations of our older clientele, and learn how to challenge and advance them while playing it safe and still having fun. Prerequisites: Open to all instructors and clients. |

| Expanding Beginner Mat w/ Sara Vincent
Go beyond a review of Beginner Mat with this workshop designed to expand your teaching repertoire for beginner level mat clients. First, we'll discuss modifications to onboard beginner clients and accommodate bodily limitations. Then, we'll dive into variations, including a few intermediate exercises, as well as how to challenge your clients while still working at the beginner level by drawing their focus to one area of the practice. Prerequisites: Open to all instructors and clients. |

| Special Cases: Impacts, Modifications & the Classical Method w/ Anmarie Touloumis
Special cases, injuries, extreme imbalances: this is the next level of understanding injuries or special needs and how to work with them. We'll explore the importance of the Beginner System and of understanding the primary powerhouse first, then how to adapt these concepts when special cases present themselves. We will focus on lower back, neck issues, pregnant and overweight clientele.
