About JoAnna

JoAnna received her Mat certification in 2026 from Power Pilates and is currently pursuing her full comprehensive certification. She loves Classical Pilates for its emphasis on functional, intelligent movement and the way it empowers people to live well inside their bodies for the long term.

As a proud Brown, queer, neurodivergent daughter of immigrants, JoAnna is passionate about making Pilates more accessible and inclusive for people of all backgrounds and experience levels. JoAnna teaches sessions in English and is also proficient in Spanish.

Outside of teaching, JoAnna also works as a licensed attorney. She earned a Juris Doctor from NKU Chase College of Law and an LLM in International Business Law from IE Law School in Madrid, Spain.
