POWER PILATES SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Power Pilates is pleased to offer full scholarships to our Comprehensive Program to exceptional candidates in London, England. The Comprehensive training is our most extensive program and covers beginner, intermediate and advanced level exercises utilizing the Pilates apparatus - Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrels, Ped-o-Pull and Magic Circle® as well as understanding how to work with Special Case clients (i.e. obesity, pregnancy, back problem, neck, knee, shoulder, etc.). Interested candidates should apply online.

Applications are due by October 1, 2024. 2024 Award recipients are will be announced October 21, 2024 and must accept the scholarship and enroll in the full Comprehensive program beginning November 8, 2024.

Full scholarships cover the cost of tuition for Core Mat 1, Core Mat 2 and the Comprehensive Program in London, valued at $6795 GBP. Additional expenses are not covered and are the responsibility of the award recipient, including:

  • Preperatory Mat and Apparatus sessions
  • Basics of Anatomy prerequisite workshop
  • Required weekly Advanced Mat and apparatus sessions throughout the program
  • Travel costs

SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILTY

  • Must be a British citizen or permanent resident, age 18+
  • Must be ready and able to complete the Mat 1 (Nov 8), Mat 2 (Nov 15), and Comprehensive (Dec 6) programs at New York Pilates London in London, England in full within the 6-12 month time limit

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Complete scholarship application in full before the October 1st deadline
  • Interview (phone, skype, or in-person) may be required with a Power Pilates representative
  • Attend the following Mat 1, Mat 2 and Comprehensive program in London, England:
    Mat 1 - November 8 - 10, 2024
    Mat 2 - November 15 - 17, 2024
    Comprehensive - Weekend #1 December 6-8, 2024
    Weekend #2 January 3-5, 2025
    Weekend #3 February 7-9, 2025
    Weekend #4 March 7-9, 2025

    Scholarships cannot be used for any other program or at other locations.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

  • Upon receiving notification of award, return signed contract to Power Pilates within 7 days along with head shot and biography for publication
  • Enroll and start Mat 1, Mat 2 and Comprehensive programs in London, England
  • Meet all requirements of the Comprehensive training while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times during the program and taking responsibility for your own progress
  • Complete all program requirements and test outs within 12 months of starting the Comprehensive program
  • Write a summary of your program experience at the conclusion of the program
