During this workshop you will learn progressions for the Wunda Chair that you can utilize during an Intermediate or Advanced session. These progressions are based on the "individual needs" of the client. Come prepared to move. Open to instructors and Intermediate/Advanced Wunda Chair level clients. | All Barrel Review (Small barrel, Spine Corrector, Ladder Barrel) w/ Daniel Gaouette
During this workshop you will learn/review the Technique of all exercises on the Barrels (Small Barrel, Spine Corrector and Ladder Barrel). The focus of the exercises will be the Set-Up and Action-only for all exercises. Staying "horizontal" with the exercises (Set-up and Action-only) will ensure proper movement safely and effectively. Prerequisites: Open to all instructors and Intermediate level clients. |

Learn how to integrate these useful props into your mat class or create a Pilates on the Ball class-great for Pilates Studios and Health Clubs. See how the use of various ball props can literally help place the beginner/intermediate student's center of gravity in their core, while challenging the advanced student with additional resources. This workshop is ideal for instructors and strong intermediate level clientele who want to review the exercises, transitions and variations of the intermediate reformer. We will focus on optimal technique, as well as the progressions to the advanced level.

| Super Advanced Mat Review w/ Jordana Herman
This workshop is for those who want to add an extra challenge to the Super Advanced Mat work. We will play with rhythm, breath, range of motion and of course add some new and exciting vocabulary to the mat workout. In Romana's words, this is a work for "star pupils!" This workshop will challenge you to discover new variations of the known Mat work in your body. And we'll add a greater demand of control for both Precision and Flow! This workshop will focus on reviewing the Intermediate Mat exercises and variations. Learn how to challenge an intermediate student by utilizing intermediate and some advanced level exercises. | Special Cases: Lower Back Issues w/ Bethanie Buckingham
Special cases, injuries, extreme imbalances: this is the next level of understanding injuries or special needs and how to work with them. We'll explore the importance of the Beginner System and of understanding the primary powerhouse first, then how to adapt these concepts when special cases present themselves. We will focus on lower back issues.

| People Lie, but Bodies Don't w/ Bethanie Buckingham
So many times clients come to us with an idea about what they expect or need in a session even before they've had their first lesson. How do you handle these situations? In this workshop you will learn the importance of listening to what their bodies are telling you versus what their mouths are saying. Of course it is important to hear their words at times, but what's crucial is to see beyond the words and into their bodies. Actions speak louder than their words. This workshop will also help shed light on how the "Individual Needs" portion of a session can become the focus of an entire lesson. Prerequisites: Open to clients and instructors

| How to Teach an 'Open' Level Tower w/ Amie Cunha
During this course you will learn how to keep your multi-level class moving safely as well as challenged at all levels. We will go through exercises from beginner thru the intermediate/advanced level and chart how to layer the exercises to create an effective yet challenging movement experience for all levels at once. Come prepared to move and leave with valuable, usable information for both Tower classes and semi-private situations. Right now our young population suffer from obesity, poor sleep habits, unhealthy eating habits and poor posture. As a result they are often fatigued, so they tend to have sedentary lifestyles. Prevention is the best medicine. "Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness", as Joseph Pilates believed. So let's integrate physical activity for the young! | Basics of Anatomy w/ Anne Marie Schultz
This is a study of basic anatomical language, which contains an introduction to planes of movement and major concepts of the skeletal and muscular systems. The course includes an outline, literature and hands on experience. Prerequisites: Ideal for instructors and clients who have minimal or no previous anatomical knowledge. Bring your Anatomy of Movement book. This course is a prerequisite for all Power Pilates apparatus programs (unless you can provide proof of attendance in a course within the last five years). |

Tired of your teaching, bored with the work? You might need to re-connect the "T" with the "PTC" and rediscover the depth of the method. During this workshop you will discover ways to heighten both you and your student's Present Time Consciousness therefore enabling you to demand the details of the method.
