Come add some "spice" to your Mat workout. This class will follow Intermediate/Advanced mat level by adding hand and ankle weights. Come add some resistance and challenge your Powerhouse to the "edge." Prerequisites: Open to instructors and Intermediate/Advanced level clients |

| Spine Corrector Challenge w/ Stephanie West
The Spine Corrector is that often-forgotten and hardly-ever-used piece of apparatus that spends most of its days sitting on the floor under the Cadillac. This mat-based workout takes the classical Spine Corrector exercises you know and love, and adds more creative exercises borrowing from the Reformer. Prerequisites: Open to all instructors and clients. |

| Jumpboard w/ Jordana Herman
More than the ordinary challenge! In this workshop you will learn or review the Jumpboard exercises suited for advanced clientele. The Jumpboard offers an element of cardio with another challenge for the Powerhouse. Come prepared to move, sweat and have fun! Prerequisites: Instructors and clients with intermediate level reformer experience. |

| Tower Progressions w/ Lesly Levy
The focus of this workshop will be on the Tower Class format and progressions, so that all of your classes are safe, effective, and fun! Together we will learn/play with creative ways to organize your progressions while maintaining the flow of the workout. We will cover all levels; Introductions to Advanced progressions. Come with questions and be prepared to move.

| Super Advanced Mat Review w/ Jordana Herman
This workshop is for those who want to add an extra challenge to the Super Advanced Mat work. We will play with rhythm, breath, range of motion and of course add some new and exciting vocabulary to the mat workout. In Romana's words, this is a work for "star pupils!" This workshop will challenge you to discover new variations of the known Mat work in your body. And we'll add a greater demand of control for both Precision and Flow! Prerequisites: Instructors and clients with advanced mat experience. |

| Reformer on the Mat w/ Lesly Levy
Create a new challenge for your more advanced classes! This workshop will review the Reformer order, exercise details and their application to the mat. No springs, no straps, just you and gravity. The breakdown of the Setup/Action/Precision of the exercises help achieve greater clarity and will add depth to the cueing. Be prepared to move and sweat! | Basics of Anatomy w/ Stephanie West
This is a study of basic anatomical language, which contains an introduction to planes of movement and major concepts of the skeletal and muscular systems. The course includes an outline, literature and hands on experience. Prerequisites: Ideal for instructors and clients who have minimal or no previous anatomical knowledge. Bring your Anatomy of Movement book. This course is a prerequisite for all Power Pilates apparatus programs (unless you can provide proof of attendance in a course within the last five years). |

| Special Cases: Mat Class w/ Stephanie West
Nobody's perfect, right? Right! This class will cover the beginner/intermediate mat exercises with safe and effective strategies and modifications for clients with special needs. We will review specific modifications for low back pain, knee injuries, shoulder pain, neck issues, osteoporosis and pregnancy. Come ready to work out and leave with new tools for your Power Pilates toolkit! Prerequisites: Instructors with beginner-intermediate Mat teaching experience.

| Assessing Progressions w/ Jordana Herman
Power Pilates believes in a classical approach to teaching, in a movement based, systematic, integrative style. Having students learn in a flowing style, with appropriate corrections at the appropriate time will transform their bodies and rid them of compensatory weaknesses that contribute to chronic weaknesses. Prerequisites: Open to all instructors and clients. |

This workshop will focus on reviewing the Intermediate Mat exercises and variations. Learn how to challenge an intermediate student by utilizing intermediate and some advanced level exercises. This workshop will be helpful for those teaching mat as well as apparatus sessions. Be prepared to move and practice! Prerequisites: Instructors and clients with intermediate mat experience. |

| Art of Touch and Spotting w/ Lesly Levy
This workshop will be taught in two parts. First, we will take a look at the classical exercises and we will practice touch which is "hands on"; how energy is transferred when touching someone, and why present time consciousness is key. Second, we will explore spotting which is "eyes on", where and how to place yourself in the room and in relation to the client when utilizing touch. Then, we will put it all together and discover how oppositional touch, coupled with appropriate placement in the room, will deepen your skills as a teacher. Prerequisites: Mat and/or apparatus teaching experience. |
